Obituary for Richard E. Trotter

Richard E. Trotter, 91, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. Born in Jersey City, he lived in North Arlington for the past 63 years. Before retiring he worked for Scotts Shoes of Westfield as a buyer and shoe salesman for over 40 years. Richard proudly served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He was an avid Giants Football and Yankees Baseball Fan. Richard loved playing golf and spending time at the beach. He was the beloved husband of Marie J. ( nee Marchitto ), the devoted father of Richard and his wife Susan, the cherished grandfather of Kate and David and the adored uncle of many nieces and nephews . Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Monday, March 12th at 9 a.m. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-6 p.m.
