Obituary for Mary Banasiak-Zizza

Mary Banasiak-Zizza ( nee Mastrolia ), 77, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. Born in Jersey City she lived in Lyndhurst for over 50 years. . She worked as an executive secretary at McCarter & English in Newark for 25 years before retiring. Mary was the beloved wife of Louis Zizza, the devoted mother of David Banasiak and his wife Dina and Carolyn Kropa and her husband Stephen, the dear step-mother of Laura Flyn and Ava Girone and her husband Gary and the cherished grandmother of Tim, Michael, Nikki, Marco ,Dominic, Ryan, Ashley, Ariel, Erica , Hannah, Nicole and Skylar. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Tuesday, February 6th at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Monday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
