Joseph T. Norton, 81, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his home in North Arlington. Born in Jersey City he lived in North Arlington for over 50 years. He worked for P.S.E.& G in Jersey City for 33 years retiring as an assistant manager in 1999. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Joseph was the beloved husband of Margaret “ Peg “ Norton ( nee Lenihan ), the devoted father of Karen Harmer and her husband Steve, and Timothy and Brian Norton, the cherished grandfather of Laura Hasbrouck and her husband Jim, Stephanie Farthing and her husband Casey, Anthony, Christopher, Michael, Ryan and Kaylee Norton, the adored great-grandmother Callan and Kaiden and the dear brother of Irene Connell, Dolores, Daniel, Jerry And Charlie Norton. Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Monday, January 22nd at 9 a.m. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-6 p.m.
