Obituary for Angelo Di Scerni

Angelo Di Scerni, 89, died January 29, 2019 at his home.
Born in Cupello, Italy he lived in Lyndhurst since 1963. Angelo was a proud citizen of the United States and a loyal parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst.
He worked for General Motors Parts Division for 40 years in Linden, N.J., Engelwood, N.J. and Bensalem, Pa. before retiring 20 years ago.
He was the beloved husband of the late Esterina (nee Passante), the cherished father of Anita Maier and her longtime companion Guy Stephens, Linda Gerbasio and her husband Michael, the adored grandfather of Erich and Anthony Maier, Jo Ann, Kristen, and Michael Gerbasio III, and great grandfather of Anthony Maier Jr., and the dear brother of the late Antonio and Mario. He will greatly missed by his many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 2nd , at 10 A.M. in Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
The family requests contributions in his memory to be made to the charity of your choice.
