Obituary for Maria Pecora

Maria Pecora (nee Amabile), 91, died September 2, 2017 at her home in North Arlington.
Born in Santa Arsenio, Italy she lived in Jersey City for 46 years before moving to North Arlington in 1996.
Before retiring 26 years ago she worked over 40 years as a seamstress for various coat manufacturers in Jersey City
She is the beloved wife of the late Paul, the cherished daughter of the late Arsenio and Lina Amabile, the adored mother of Joseph Pecora and his wife Valerie of Clifton, and Sammy Pecora and his wife Victoria of Clifton, the loving grandmother of Beverly Lamego and her husband Danny, Joseph, John, Justine and Sammy Pecora, the great grandmother of Vieanna and Rocco Lamego, and the dear sister of the late Giuseppe, Nicholas and Antoinette Amabile, and Louise Ippolito.
The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington on Wednesday, September 6 at 9 A.M. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. The entombment will follow in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Tuesday 2 to 8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Maria for Altar Linens and cloths to Queen of Peace Church, (Attention Maureen Hennessy ), 10 Franklin Place, North Arlington, N.J. 07031.
