Obituary for Julia Parker

Julia Parker (nee Piatek), 62, died May 28, 2017 at her home in North Arlington.
Born in Jersey City she lived in North Arlington since 1980.
She worked as a secretary for Lucent Technologies in Morristown and Newark for many years before retiring in 2004.
She is the beloved wife of Walter, the cherished mother of Joseph R. , the devoted daughter of the late Virginia Piatek (nee Scalia), the adored sister of Joyce O'Keefe, Diane Caivano, Karen Cerreta and the late Frank Piatek, the loving goddaughter of Linda Tabone, and the loving godmother of Megan O'Keefe and Frankie Piatek. She is also survived by her dear niece Gabriella Cerreta and many other loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington on Thursday, June 1, at 9 A.M. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. The entombment will follow in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
